Fabric Softener:
Use 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup (depends on what you like) White Vinegar in the rinse cycle. Not only will this help clean your clothes but also your washer. Your clothes will not smell like vinegar either but it will work it's magic and get all the soap out of your clothes.
Dryer Sheets:
Just toss in 2-3 Tennis Balls and this will eliminate the static and will continue the no chemicals in your clothes. If you try this please leave me a comment and let me know how it works for you.
Floor Cleaner:
1 cup White Vinegar
1/2 gal (64 oz) Warm Water
Mix this in your mop bucket. You can use this on just about every floor surface. This will not leave a film on your floors or make them sticky.
Toilet Cleaner:
1 cup Vinegar
1/4 cup Baking Soda
Mix this in a medium size bowl (YES, it does make a reaction). Pour this in the toilet and let sit about 5-10 min. Use your toilet brush on it and flush. You should have a really clean toilet and it won't smell like bleach.
Window & Mirror Cleaner:
2 Teaspoons Vinegar
8 oz Warm Water
Mix this in a small bowl and use a cloth to wipe the window or mirror and then take a piece of newspaper to wipe clean. This will leave you no streaks on your window or mirror. This works very well in vehicles especially if you have smokers, it gets the nicotine off also so your windows don't look cloudy
General Cleaner:
1/2 cup (4 oz) Vinegar
1/4 cup (2 oz) Baking Soda
1/2 gal(64 oz) Water
Mix the Vinegar and Baking Soda together in a medium size bowl (YES, it does make a reaction). Add some of the water to it and pour into a spray bottle and add the rest of the water. This is a general cleaner cause this can be used to clean every room in your house and on almost every surface. Some of the places I have used it: Sink, stove, microwave, small appliances, counter tops, refrigerator, bathtub, wood surfaces, laminated surfaces and many more.
If on most surfaces you need a little bit more scrubbing power then add some baking soda and water to make a paste like mixture and put it on the spot and use a brush and work it in then use the General Cleaner to clean it off.
